Tried this with Darien and felt like it was worth knowing. Would do better with more practice. The sounds were confusing sometimes, though, as if he was sending several messages at once.
DEEELIGHTFUL photos, text, quotes. Your outfit is so perfect. Is that the one Duane commented on? I can see why. Might be my favorite so far. I liked the list of where each item came from and I also really like the baby accessory. The picture of M. W. is adorable with her eyes closed and hands by her mouth. Oh so cute!
Love Love Love the first photo of the sweet sleeping baby. Also happy to know his mother aced her exams. I thought she would.
Like the muddy hands on the other little gal and the grin of delight.
The working and playing photos are great too.
You just did such a great job and I'm enjoying your blog very much.
Keep up the good work for all the rest of us to enjoy.
Thank you! Nice to have some great feedback! Acing the exams was quite an accomplishment. Seems it's been a year since anyone had on the first try. About 30% don't pass them at all, and the rest have to retake one. If I understand correctly, you can only retake one and the test is expensive. We had to coax a little on the mud pie making. That seemed to be a new experience, made especially enjoyably by adding the nearby water spigot to the possibilities. We ended up with quite a water hole by the house before we added the rule that you couldn't leave it running after the buckets were filled. Didn't want to float the house away or break the budget with overuse of water, but kids and water do mix. Too bad about the clothes being ruined. That's not fun when you're on vacation and have limited supplies...we could have made a trip to Goodwill! What fun with Mindy that would have been! She's got the front of the house painted. Looking forward to seeing it. New roof scheduled. Hopefully for the end of the month.
LOVED, LOVED, LOVED your blog. I have watched the Oprah episode and wish I had known it when I had babies! Love the outfit and the baby accessory! What a treat. And Yay for acing the exam. That is impressive!. Baby Darien is so sweet! And the shoes! Oh I love the shoes!
Thanks! Wish I'd had more time for phone calls the last couple of weeks because I missed calls from all three sisters, but couldn't talk because of several days of laryngitis and now off to help put sealer on the back of the duplex. Helena. Nervous about our new renter. Ugh. Yes the shoes are amazing, but after several hours of standing through the influence of the sequester on my (canceled)(delayed)flight, I was glad I had flip-flops in my bag for a second choice. Darien is a love-bug. Oh my. SOOO glad to have that time with him.
Oooh. Too bad your flights were messed up. I just read about that the other day. I am very glad I got my/our two flight trips out of the way just in the nick of time. Now I have no more planned. Hopefully they get that all straightened out before I want to go flying again! Humphhh.
Yes ditto to Mom. Wonderful pictures this time. A picture is a worth a thousand words! Love to see my girls and so glad again that we had a smidgen of time together.
Looked up Dunstan baby language and was disappointed to find out it only works until 12 weeks?? Nonetheless, I am anticipating some part-time babysitting for my friend, whose baby is 15 weeks, and I'll see if I can figure anything out! :)
I like the Coco Chanel quote and need to remember that a bit more often. Still very prone to go grocery shopping in my gym clothes for convenience' sake.
