His hint for getting started on any task, especially difficult ones:

Test the water with your toes Method. i.e. do the easiest thing first.

Getting him started on any project:

Begin it.  He will take pity on my ineptitude and in doing so,
add the finer touches I didn't think of.

(This has been known to get me into all kinds of trouble, and I did not learn it intentionally.)

Best Way to Get What I Want

Plan ahead.  Way ahead.  Key word: Plan.

  2. This might be the prettiest sunset picture I've ever seen. Enjoyed the Home Depot trip photo too and all the photos and the writing about strengths and weaknesses. Love your writing. Miss you so much.

Another vacant rental to work on for me. Dirty this time which is not very usual; but two dirty ones in a row? The first one I could understand as the tenant passed away, but this other one is simply disrespectful by a young married couple. I'm surprised and disappointed.

Check out the 1.5 hour video on grounding at Mercola.com. Simply amazing! Today I bought some brand spankin' new vintage leather sole boots because of the video. I understand Warren Buffet bought the Justin Boot company in 2000 and ever since then they have put in a composite spacer instead of cork spacers used in the older versions. This is a poor decision because the cork was more comfortable and provided grounding which the composite does not. So we have a store here that carries the old boots and they charge the old prices too. What a treat. Everyone should be coming here to buy the new/old boots.

    1. Delighted for the grounding update. The weather outside is frightful and I don't think I'll be spending much time outside until it warms up. I am thinking about my multiple pairs of shoes for exercising and not a one has leather soles. Maybe I'd better go watch the video!? Our experience the last several years has been one sloppy tenant after another! We are in a major remodel because of it and I'm half thinking of moving in myself rather than risk damages! I think the mindset we are seeing is of entitlement and its like a terrible virus that is infecting the minds of more and more people. Suspect they attend church when they need help with the rent - and continue their bad behavior the rest of the time. It is sure getting tiresome cleaning up messes.
Your sunset picture comment surprised me. I think it's nice, but hadn't thought of it as one of the prettiest. It was SOCC, so that was fun.

  3. Well looks like I fell off the wagon here. For some reason have not checked for blog updates in a couple of weeks...on any blog.

So glad to see your AZ trip pics and yes, enjoying your writing too. Cute bunny pics!!

Yep weather here is frightful and no I don't think I want to go stick my toes in the dirt right now... but mom is teaching me there are other ways.
