"If hard work were such a wonderful thing,
surely the rich would have kept it all to themselves."
 -Lane Kirkland

Kiowa Project

Well,  Mesa, actually, but nice sweatshirt!

We do demolition!
.

I guess it's settled...the patching process in progress.

Starring role

I don't want to make money, I just want to be wonderful.
Marilyn Monroe

$1600 of set building supplies...
Another $600...

Bathrooms don't need windows,
 especially leaky , moldy ones.

Act 1:  We lifted, jiggled, pushed, prodded, pulled up and down, up and down, fitting, re-fitting, replacing the props, removing the props, while being mindful of not breaking or chipping the fiberglass.  When everything was level, then the tub was  lowered for the last time down into mortar.

Stage left (or right,
depending on your point of view):
Access to the tub plumbing from the
living room side of the wall.

I slept and dreamt that life was beauty; I woke and found that life was duty.

Ahhh..a moving rehearsal performance!   Yay!

Tah Dah!

Stage Right: Taping,  texturing, tiling.

Find something in life that you love doing. If you make a lot of money, that's a bonus, and if you don't, you still won't hate going to work.

Intermission:  "Box seats" or paint cans...what ever you can find...not much actual sitting goes on around here, anyway!

Checking the script.

Back stage multitasking: patching, painting,
removing base stuck down behind tile.

Match maker, match maker, make me a match,
find me a find, catch me a catch!

Mindy got tired of removing base trim...and
discovering a scorpion hiding behind it didn't help,
soooo...Mom took over that job.
Any scorpions had better dive for cover.
We have weapons.

Relaxing after showers,
Duane entertains us with a funny blog he found.

There is nothing that makes its way more directly into the soul than beauty.
